I'm sure D-Link had a compelling technical reason for removing this firmware version and would caution against further installations without due consideration. ???

This firmware can still be found in SG site here (http://ftp://dlink.com.sg/Temp_Folder/DLINKEu_DNS320.2.02b01(2.06.0901.2011)(BETA)) but I would advice upgrading unless you wish to be stuck with no option for downgrading. >:(

I'm confident D-Link's technical team is hard at work improving the DNS-320 firmware for the next release (or re-release).

I wouldn't update to the new 2.02b1 firmware if you use the upnp server. Its all screwed up.

Can you please explain how it is screwed up so that I may look into it if it is infact? I havent seen any issues.

Sure. I hope though it is an issue everyone is having - otherwise I sound stupid. My media library no longer updates on its own. I have to manually do it, otherwise anything new I put on the NAS box doesn't show up on a media server. Used to be fine.

Hi,
I have a few of these devices and the media server was actually improved/ fixed with 202, none of the earlier media servers had the proper alpha-numeric file order, there were basically a bunch of random folders and files within. This was a pretty well documented bug. The media server updates automatically for me as I add new files, almost immediately. So I am puzzled by your problems. You might try going into the settings and re-saving your selections. I had some glitches with some of the new settings not being "active" even though they appeared to have been selected already. Then do a shutdown and start again. Good luck.

I had to turn of my NAS box because it was acting strange - wouldn't wake up from sleep. Anyhow since then the media server library is updating on its own.
