Hi,
we'd like to setup our 2 932L to only trigger motion recording on specific hours. Can this be done or do I have to wait for a firmware update?
would also be nice to be able to lower the frame rate if we want.
no?

The DCS-932L does not currently support motion detection on a schedule.

The frame rate can be controlled by logging into the web interface and navigating to: SETUP -> Video
The drop-menu under FPS contains the frame rate options.

The soon to be released DCS-942L will contain motion detection on a schedule. Hopefully this functionality will work it's way into a future DCS-932L firmware release. :)

I hope so too.

Any update on this? Seems like a simple fix to the firmware / software. Without it, frankly this camera is useless.
I have it triggered to email me when motion, but only want it to happen during certain hours (when I'm at work). Right now, on weekends, etc I'm getting notifications ALL THE TIME.
This is a MANDATORY function of any home based security system.
Please release a fix for this A.S.A.P.

Unfortunately, there have been no firmware updates reflecting this requested change.
