I have installed on my computer the most recent ActiveTV. I can get to menu choices thru the DSM 520, but cannot actually play any online videos. Example - You tube - All videos I've tried are "unplayable". Hulu plays the intro ad then noithing. Aol Video just clocks when selected. I can play Hulu and Youtube OK thru Active TV on my computer. .... What's wrong and how do I make work?

In a nutshell, all of these web streamers change the way they distribute their videos which will break Active TV. YouTube was the only one I was able to figure out how to get working again.
Hulu and AOL have been 'broken' for awhile.
Also, check out http://active-tv.blogspot.com/

Thanks for the info. Your HTML allowed me to play youtube. Then I installed playon, and it seemed to overwrite activetv. Playon does hulul sofar :)

Yeah...Playon and Active TV can't be on the same computer. Playon will uninstall it. But YouTube is on Playon so that might be OK.

active tv is a subset of playon from the same vendor-themediamall.com

Too bad playon is only a free trial.

I remember when they had Hulu beta on Active TV. That was the cheese! Worked great until last October.
