Title: Cannot connect DNA-323 directly via ethernet to Macbook OSX 10.7.2 or 10.6.8.
Post by: sachehache on October 17, 2011, 09:12:31 PM
Hey Fellas, I encountered a problem here as I am trying to connect my macbook's ( OSX 10.7.2 or 10.6.8 ) to my dns-323 via ethernet. Both macbook's can access the 323 wirelessly when it is connected to my router (wndr3700). However, when I try to connect the MacBooks directly via ethernet, neither can find the DNS when manually searched in the finder ???. Just to note, I have set up a static ip for the DNS, and have searched for the DNS using that address. If anyone would be able to help me with this it would be much appreciated! :)

I had the same problem. I used a paper clip to factory reset the DNS-323 and it's now viewable through Finder. It does not delete any information on the device just resets the settings.
