Title: Please help, DNS320/BOXEE and HDD
Post by: hrb93 on October 24, 2011, 07:23:56 AM
Hi all, had aCisco media hub with a 599gb and a 2TB WD20EARS, both worked good untill the Cisco blew up.  I searched and got a DNS 320 as i assumed it would work with the Boxee (both D-Link), well after haveing to delete both drives (lost everything) i started to rebuild the collection again.  Then after about a week of issues with slow file transfer etc, i reformatted and just left in the 2TB, it has worked for 1 day, now it continuely buffers, and now the orange light on the 320 is lit and nothing happens.

Is it because of the 2TB drive not being on the compatible list?

what drive should i get?

i have updated the firmware as well.

Thanks.

I use the dns-320 with 2x500gb sata in raid 0.  NFS under-performs, upnp is eh, smb works fine with a Boxee Box.
