Help me please, I bought this device on the internet and there is no support in my country for this product. I'm from Mexico. I'd like to change the firmware but I see this warning

"This firmware is engineered for U.S. products only.
Using this firmware on a device outside of the United States will void your warranty and may render the device unusable.

Please contact the D-Link office in your region for firmware updates that are compatible with your D-Link product "

This firmware is safe for my device? where can I get assistance?

Hi ezambe,  Using this firmware outside US does not have any trouble, the fact is more related to the warranty, but this is only valid in USA, so you don´t have it now. So don´t worry about it, and upgrade it.

Hola ezambe, usar este firmware fuera de Estados Unidos no tiene ningún problema. el tema es mas de alcance de la garantía, ya que esta es solamente válida en Estados Unidos, así que hoy en día tu no la tienes.  Entonces no te preocupes y actualiza el aparato.
