Title: [SOLVED]won't boot, flash... tried everything.
Post by: Antipatiko on October 30, 2011, 02:23:01 PM
After flashing a current snapshot OpenWRT everything seemed to work fine but when I configured the wlan and rebooted the network service the device got bricked.
I tried to flash almost every firmware out there including stock, factory-to-ddwrt_NA, openwrt-ar71xx-generic-dir-825-b1-squashfs-backup-loader...

I followed the instructions outlined in this topic with no results:

When I get into the firmware recovery and flash the unit, it doesn't reboot after completing the process.
Nothing happens at all, and I can't ping or telnet to it.

If I power cycle the unit, the power led blinks for a few seconds and then stays orange.

I don't know what else to do. Any feedback is certainly appreciated! Thank you.
