I have a HP Laser Jet 1020 printer. It is a host based USB printer where it need a firmware download before it can print. Currently, A PS software is required to install on Windows workstation to act as USB redirector with DPR-1061 before it can print. There is no PS software for Linux workstation.
I am thinking if I can access to DPR-1061 via SSH to send the firmware to printer when it detect there is an USB hotplug signal.
Is there an option to SSH to DPR-1061?
