Title: Xbox Question 825
Post by: SavageWolv on November 14, 2011, 05:59:45 PM
Is there anyway to force the xbox inside the router to grab the same ip address everytime it comes on? Other than changing it on the console via a static ip? Xboxs dont like static Ip address and its getting annoying? Anyone know?

I thought we set that up all ready. Have to reserve the IP address of the xbox on the router. Oh thats right we tried with that 815. This is your new router. Ya, reserve all the devices IP addresses on the router then each device will get it's own IP address when it connects. Follow the gaming sticky for XBL.

I went through the sticky but might have missed something. If you are online tomorrow if you will, I will see if we can get you to take a look at it for me? Again thanks Fuzzy.

Well Furry came through for me again. I think that DLink should show this guy some love and hook him up with a paycheck. He worked on my PC router setup for over an hour. Better than any DLINK support. Great Job Furry.

I'm working on updating it. If and when you get yours set up. I'd like to capture some screen from you if possible. I was hoping Harry could help you out on ensuring it's set up well for PSN. Have you contacted him about that yet?
