We have DIR-615, almost 18 months old, we must occasionally reboot because it APPEARS that the device has had its certificate expire. We tried changinf the tomeout expire to 999999 no luck.
We are using Kodak printer, Sony Blu-Ray, Dell laptop, Iphone, Ipad.
Wired connections are fine.

What wireless modes are you using?
Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using? WEP, WPA or WPA2? Preferred is WPA-Personal. WPA2/Auto TPIK and AES.
What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.

Could you explain what you mean when you say the certificate expires? Are you using WPA Enterprise? Maybe PPPTP or some sort of VPN?

Sorry, I meant lease expired, not certificate. Currently working late night shift, I'll have to check the other data when I get home. The hardware in the C1 version.

Wondering why it says its channel 3 on one page, and channel 6 on another?
All my devices connect after bouncing power on 615.
Ok for a day, but after some period, maybe a day or two, they will not connect anymore.
I'm a career IT person, since '72 mainframe, unix, wintel,so I'm not a newbie to technology.
My oldest son works in the IT field, and is Cisco certified in networking, but he took the course a while back (2006) when wireless was a little less sophisticated.
It was his thought that the DHCP lease could be expiring, so we set the expiration to 999999.

Well if its the DHCP lease, then its better to set a reservation for that one IP then setting the leases to 99999. But since doing that didn't fix the problem, I don't think its a lease issue, since the leases would have different time-frames, and wouldn't all expire at once. Also, then wired connections would be effected like wireless.
When you lose the connection, does it say it disconnected from the network? Or is it connected and just can't get online? Do you lose your IP? When you lose the connection on one, do all the wireless connections go down at once? Can you still ping the router's gateway?
It could be the wireless security though. Are all your devices capable of AES? If so, I would change your security to WPA2 and AES only.
