Title: DNS-320 2.02B01 problems (Cross Site Action detected)
Post by: rotoman on November 19, 2011, 09:05:36 AM
Dear All,

Let me share with you my experience with DNS-320.

First of all I got it with firmware version 2.00, latest stable version, which appeared to not be not that stable.
I inserted 1 HDD (Samsung 1TB 7200rpm) and configured it as a single drive. All went fine so far, I managed to configure the features, user accounts and network settings - almost everything. I have copied 700 Gb data (fortunately I did not deleted it from the old place) to volume_1.

Than problems begin: I rebooted device from Web HUI, and after reboot the volume simply dissapeared. Under drive configuration "Select RAID type and Format" appeared again. My files together with file system were cleared. I could not recover it. I decided to remove drive from DNS-320. I know, it is a Samsung drive, which is not listed in compatibility list, but I'm affraid it is a firmware bug.

I decided to update firmware to 2.02. New problems occured. I configured DynDns account to have access from the internet. It was working fine before, with firmware 2.00. Now after login I get "400 Bad Request Cross Site Action detected!" error. I found a trick to solve it (use fun_plug, and login with telnet/ssh and disable cross site detection, but I would like to know if this is a known bug with 2.02, and when is it planned to be fixed?

Thanks for your help!

Any thoughts on this? Any concerns?

Can you post the steps you did to do this? Getting the same issue, but I've been wandering around using SSH for ages and no where close to finding out where the option is.

I have not encounter this error before but a search on google pointed the cause to DD-WRT firmware. So my question to TS is, how did you disable this on the NAS?
