Hi community,
I'm confused by all the choices available and I'm actually not sure which direction even to go.
I am moving my office from one side of the house to the other which has real spotty wireless coverage. Most likely I will not be able to move the modem or wireless router, so I have to somehow increase the range.
I did some research and poking around on forums, but I can't find a clear cut, number 1, this is what you want choice to help my issue.
If there is a better option that is more expensive, that is fine as well, but I just don't know.
These were the options I was looking at (not biased toward Amazon, just easiest to find):
Option 1:
Hawking HWREN1 Hi-Gain Wireless-300N Range Extender
http://www.amazon.com/Hawking-HWREN1-Hi-Gain-Wireless-300N-Extender/dp/B001DMEYCY
Option 2:
Diamond Multimedia 300Mbps 802.11n Wireless Repeater and Range Extender (WR300N)
http://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Multimedia-Wireless-Repeater-WR300N/dp/B005D5M136
Option 3:
Amped Wireless High Power Wireless-N Smart Repeater and Range Extender
http://www.amazon.com/Amped-Wireless-Wireless-N-Repeater-SR300/dp/B004NBL9WK
Or a signal booster like this?
http://www.amazon.com/Amped-Wireless-1000mW-Booster-SB1000/dp/B004MDQQ04
Please let me know what you think would be the best option to pair with the DIR-655.
Thanks for your time all.
