I installed DViewcam in a small network on 2 computers. I configured the recording on 1 computer.
How can I configure the second computer to playback recordings? I would like to playback recordings on either computers.
What is the recommended way to setup live viewing of cameras on the second computer?
Thanks, Darly

In PC 1, In Network Service, I started the Remote Playback Server
In PC 2, In Remote Server setup, I entered the IP address, Port, Username, and Password.
I received the error message "unable to locate server"
No anti-virus is installed in PC 1
I added exceptions for Dviewcam in Firewall

Are both computer in the same IP-range (like 192.168.1.x)?
Is the port-number (use default mostly) the same in both machines?
What does the "Test Server" button when setting up the "Server" in the Playback.exe on PC2's "Remote Playback Site Management" give back? You get there by starting Playback.exe on PC2, then open Time-selection (top right button), and click on the House-symbol to open this pop-up menu (I am mentioning this extraeneous info for others, not for you).
Which version of the DCS monitoring software are you using?

DCS monitoring software 3.11
yes, computers are on same IP range 192.168.1.0/32
yes, Ports are default, no change.
Playback.exe on PC2 -> Remote Playback Site Management -> Server
- Enter IP address of PC 1
- click on Test Server
- response message "unable to locate server"
I can successfully ping PC 1 from PC 2, and ping PC2 from PC 1
