Quick Question, where do you locate the connection pin number for a new installation? I've tried resetting the unit, it comes up and says ready to use, start the WIDI on your computer.

I have two install options on the WIDI control panel, add via a pin or add via one touch. The DHD-131 doesn't have a one touch button, and doesn't display the pin on the screen.

*blush* I fixed my problem hehe, helps if you read the whole instructions.

I missed step 3 of the Intel Setup guidelines:

Intel® Wireless Display software update

Version 2.1.42.0 and later include firmware update for adapter. There is a unified Windows 7* (32 bit / 64 bit) software installer.

Once this was installed all worked well.
