Title: DAP-1360 general question

Hey Guys/Girls
I am looking at creating a wi-fi access point in my home as my router does not reach to all places of my house, particularly my room which is the furthest from the router. I am using a D-Link DSL-2642B, which acts as my modem and router. Can i connect a DAP-1360 through ethernet cable to the DSL-2642B and send the signal out from my room as well as the modem/router. Also if there is a different product that does the job described better then the DAP-1360 and is around the same price let me know.

yes you can do that...any chance you can run a long cable to where you could out the DAP. I have an AP in my living room which is down the hall way from my office where the main router is. Yes you can use the DAP as an AP. You can possibly use the same SSID however you'll need to make sure the channel differ on each device, modem and DAP.
