Title: Lost router password,is there another way to login to router?

I lost the CD for my dgl-4500 router that contained my router log-in password.
Is there a way to log in to the router now, so I can update the firmware?
Will simply resetting the router manually allow me to log in?

Yes you can factory reset the router.
There a reason for FW updating?
