Hey,
I recently uploaded a config file that i saved from the configuration page of the Dlink 323 then opened and saved it in wordpad. Now when the 323 rebooted it just flashes the Dlink light in the middle of the front panel. It's been doing it for about an hour now. I tried hitting the reset button on the back but nothing happened.
It doesn't boot to the point of getting an IP address. Any ideas?

More than likely you have corrupted the config file by replacing the UNIX carriage returns with Windows ones. As the config file is stored in flash, it's not going to be a simple fix.
I'll defer to somebody who knows more.

Ya that's what I thought. I just hope some one has a fix :S

Last heard it required a serial cable and some modding to fix problems like these. BTW, I seriously think the config file should at least be binary, not text! It's just too dangerous.

żDid you change the firmware before dead?

A simple reset to factory defaults should wipe the config back to the original.
