I have a DNS-325 with firmware 1.02b3 and one 250GB HDD. The PC and the Nas are connected to a Zyxel 105B switch that is connected to a Linksys 320N router.
When i download a file with FTP then the rate is 40MB/s. When i download the same file with Samba the rate is 10MB/s.
When i upload a file with FTP then the rate is 12MB/s. When i download the same file with Samba the rate is 30MB/s.
Why is there so much difference between the rates for upload and download and why is FTP slow with the upload ???
