Hi guys,
I'm having a problem with the speed, it only shows 65 mb/s. :(
Anyone else had the same problem? If yes, how can I fix it?
Thanks!

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.
What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router?
What ISP Modem make and model do you have?
If this modem has a built in router, it's best to bridge the modem. Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems.
What ISP Speeds UP and Down do you pay for?
Some things to try:
Ensure DNS IP addresses are being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual? You can find these under Status/Device Info/Wan section.
Turn off ALL QoS (DIR only) GameFuel (DGL only and if ON.) options. Advanced/QoS or Gamefuel.
Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option under Setup/Internet/Manual.
Turn on DNS Relay under Setup/Networking.
Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices on the router. Setup/Networking
Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
Set Firewall settings to Endpoint Independent for TCP and UDP.
What wireless modes are you using?
Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using? WEP, WPA or WPA2? Preferred is WPA-Personal. WPA2/Auto TPIK and AES.
Turn off Short GI and Extra Wireless Protection if you have it. Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.
Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing.
Turn off all devices accept for one wired PC while testing.
Check cable between Modem and Router, swap out to be sure. Cat6 or 5e recommended.

thanks for the quick reply, and apologies for not leaving so much info in my first post
Here are some additional infos:
Hw version: B5
Firmware: 2.10
I have cable. I only have one router, the dir-600. No additional one from the ISP, only the network cable that's plugged into it.
I obtain the ip automatically so is DHCP.
all Qos are disabled
DNS relay is on
tried single mode ( n only) and mixed - same result
security wpa/wpa2 with cypher type tkip/aes
...still 65 mb/s
strange is that before I have upgraded my wireless drivers, I had 75mb/s. I use a laptop ( asus g73jw) with atheros 9285 wirless card. last drivers are from November 24th.

What are the supported modes for that wireless card? I presume N supporting. If so you should be hitting around 130-170Mb.
How far are you away from the router?
Any cordless house phones?
Any other WiFi routers in the area?
-
it supports b/g/n.
My laptop is 30 cm from the router. No cordless house phones, no other wifi routers around.
-
Lets try 200 cm from router? Not sure if this will do anything. Im curious if the wireless adaptor is not working well. Any chance you have a different device you could test with? Or take the router and your LT to a different place with wireless and test, neighbor or friends house?
-
tried moving to the last room of the house ( aprox 20 m and 3 walls:D between the router)
still 65 mb/s, only the signal was cut in half
-
Ya kinda think that if the router wireless is set for Single mode N, your connection speed should be much higher.
I would try a different wireless adapter, even a USB wireless should work well.
-
Yes, same to me.
I think we must wait next firmware
-
I would try a different wireless adapter,.
