When I try to access camera advanced settings through "my dlink" it thinks about it for a minute and then says it cannot access this web page because of a bad address, etc. etc. The only way I can get to these settings is to connect through a wired connection to my router which is cumbersome to say the least. Any suggestions on how to get this feature to work wirelessly?

I had the same problem, i kept refreshing the page that open or kept opening a new window and eventually it worked. Frustrating , but I'm not gonna connect my camera via ethernet each time. hope this helps

Are you trying to upload the new firmware from the web interfaace through your LAN (i.e. http://[CAMERA_IP_ADDRESS}/ or through mydlink? How long has the upload been hanging?

It takes a few seconds and then says webpage not findable error
I am trying to download from my dlink page

Another problem i have is that i cannot seem to log in to my dlink account from a remote computer but i can from my personal computer

Let's tackle one issue at a time and start with the firmware:
(1) Download the firmware from this link to a PC on the same LAN as your DCS-932L: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=42728.0 (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=42728.0)
(2) Open a web browser from the same PC and navigate to http://[CAMERA_IP_ADDRESS/
(3) Enter your credentials and navigate to MAINTENANCE > Firmware Upgrade
(4) Upload the file from your PC
