I have a DIR-615 router that I can not see the characters that you have to type just a read X on login screen on any computer running IE9 even the emulator on the dlink site shows this problem
any ideas
-
Try setting Compatibility Mode in IE9.
-
I did that it still does not work correctly
-
Try a different browser like Opera and see if it exhibits the same problem.
If the emulators on the Dlink site are exhibiting the same thing, theres something going on probably on the PCs or the router thats blocking internet data. I use the emulators all the time and don't see this problem.
Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PCs while testing.
Try a factory reset of the router.
What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.

I have REV C 3.10

Let us know if you see the same problem with using a different browser please.
Also turn off any Anti Virus and Firewall programs temporarily while testing.
There is more resent FW however I hope to see if we can narrow down the issue first before updating and updating is an option.
Keep us posted.
