Hello,
I am trying to set up my DCS-932 for wifi connection. I am using a macbook air running OS10.7.2. When I perform a site survey to select my wireless network, I select the circle adjacent to the name of my wireless network but the SELECT button remains dimmed out. Thus, I can never select my network. I should ad that my router is an Airport Extreme.
I have tried resetting the camera with a paperclip but this didn't help and gave me identical results. I suspect this may be a compatibility issue between the mydlink software and either 10.7 or the airport extreme.
If anyone has a solution, I would be most grateful.
Thanks!
Roger

Have you disconnected the Ethernet cable between the camera and the router?
-
Disconnecting the cable while doing the setup/site survey freezes the process. I did try typing the name of my network into the field provided on the wireless setup page and then saving it. Disconnecting the cable after that resulted in losing the camera image.

D-Link tech support at 877-453-5465 can probably walk you through the process.

I spoke with them prior to posting on this forum. The gentleman I spoke with walked me through everything I had already done and then declared that “it doesn't seem to be working the way it should. You should borrow a PC and try setting it up".

Have you tried instantiating a wired connection between your PC and DCS-9302L first? Once you establish a wired connection, you should be able to convert to wireless.
-
Not sure how I would connect between my MAC and the camera. Isn’t all the initial communication to complete the setup done between the mydlink website and the camera via the router. If you mean a wired link between the camera and the router, yes, of course.

Does the camera function properly when connected to your router via Ethernet?
-
It works properly and is controllable via the mydlink website when connected via Ethernet. The only thing it will not do is join my wireless network.
