Hi All:
Just found this forum, I know a little slow :-\ and have been reading it with interest. I saw the postings about the slow down in speed with FW 1.21, but thought I would just mention I have had the same issue with FW 1.20. I did not upgrade from 1.11 to 1.21 like most, opting just to stay at 1.20. I noticed a significant slow down in site access, although I thought it was my ISP - Cox Communications.
after reading the threads, I decided to downgrade to 1.11. WOW! what a difference. The router is back to the original speed I was used to. No more 2-4 second lag to access sites, 2-6 sec wait times to down load images on web pages...well you get the idea. In other words, whatever seems to be the problem in 1.21 seems to be also in 1.20.
You may already know this, but just in case I thought I would post. I hope Dlink can fix this, as it would be nice to be able to use the usb port for printing and such, but it is not worth giving up the unit's excellent performance with 1.11 for this feature. :o
Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps!

1.20 still contains a minor DNS bug causing lookup delays, which is solved in 1.21 beta. To go around the bug disable "DNS relay" on 1.20/1.21 (non beta).
1.11 does not carry the burden of the new hardware revisions (A4) but also lacks some nice new features. If you do not need these features, 1.11 is a good choice.
