Title: slow transfer over WIFI to ipad

Hi,

i'm overal content with the router. But i bought myself an ipad and an app to go with it,
what it does it, you access your computer from your laptop. You can than transfer files onto the ipad.
But the max speed while transfering is 4150kbps, kinda slow imo.

is there a reason for this, or a solution?

What wireless modes are you using?
Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/Auto TPIK and AES.
Any cordless house phones?
Any other WiFi routers in the area? Use InSSIDer (http://www.metageek.net/) to find out.
Turn off Short GI and Extra Wireless Protection if you have it. Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.

Be aware that wireless connection speeds differ from actual file xfer speeds and you'll never get the same as connection speeds. Just the nature of the beast.

What is your ISP upload speed?  It is closed to 5M upload.
