Hi there!
At first, please apologize my bad English.
We use the DNS-320 DNS in a small business network with two Mac Computers (10.6 Snow Leopard and 10.7 Lion) and three PCs (Win7 Enterprise). Everything worked fine until I updated from Firmware 2.0.0 to the latest one 2.0.2 (from here => http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=DNS-320&tab=3).
Now I can not access it - there's no problem accessing the Webinterface - that works fine, but the data on the HDDs. Every Computer showed the DNS-320 in the Network before, now only the Mac Computers do. The DNS appears in the Network-Folder but I can't access it => connection failed.
I tried to reset it three times, to load the former configuration file, firmware downgrade does not work, nothing helps...
No way, what can I do now? ??? :o

Do the HDDs look healthy and do the HDD specs look normal in the web interface?

Yep, everything looks normal and healthy. There's also no way to access any USB plugged drives :-\

Even though the web interface works, you may want to try moving the DNS-320 to a different port (and different Ethernet cable). Also try powering down your modem and restarting (i.e. remove power cable).

- New Ethernet cable
- Modem restarted
- Computers restarted
- ...
Nothing helps. We will order an alternate device via Overnight express till this one is repaired. Telephone support said that the Firmware "could be incompatible with European devices". Err... Anyway!
JavaLawyer, I thank you very much for your fast help!! :)

Did you try uploading the software from the U.S. FTP Site? The Taiwan site contains a version of the firmware called "WW" (worldwide).

TimS,
I have looked at your post a few times, and something did not seem right. Well I just looked at it again, and saw that you were trying to reinstall your previous configuration file to the upgraded firmware. I am pretty sure this will not work correctly. I would try to go in and re-enter all of your settings manually and then, re-save, even if it "looks" like everything is in order. Hope it helps. Good luck.

Good catch... ;)
