DIR-827 with 1.01 Firmware, Hardware version A1.
Currently router is setup with mostly default settings. It is broadcasting in Wireless N and G modes 2.4Ghz. My Wireless N client has not onced dropped the connection to the router nor connectivity to the internet. However, though my wireless G client has not dropped a connection to the router, it will lose connectivity to the internet after 4-6 hours of use.
Both computers utilize the most up to date certified drivers. The Wireless G client will not resolve the issue with a "repair connection," hard reboot, or disabling/enabling the network card. The only method I have found to fix it every time is a DHCP release/renew or reboot of the router.
The same issue occurs with my Droid X - haven't checked but I think it's Wireless G also. I have tried reserved IP addresses as well on all devices.
Any thoughts?

What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/Auto TPIK and AES.
What wireless devices do you have connected?
Any cordless house phones?
Any other WiFi routers in the area? Use InSSIDer (http://www.metageek.net/) to find out.
Turn off Short GI and Extra Wireless Protection if you have it. Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.

PS3 and Wii very rarely are in use and both have been off during many cycles of the same issue being discussed. No other WiFi devices including cordless phones. Channel Select is auto which should reduce any latent frequency conflicts, and I live in an open space away from the neighbors - only showing one other network in range. Frequency should not be an issue.
Security is WPA Personal - Mode: Auto (WPA or WPA2)/Cypher: TKIP and AES. Only other router is intermittent 1 bar, also secured. Short GI is off... don't see any options for Extra Wireless Protection. I appreciate the help and quick feedback! Still trying tweaks as I go - I'll keep you updated.
