Hello,
I am using a DIR 825 and I experience slow data transfer speed within my internal network under the wireless connection (2.4 Ghz), 2 Mbs. I can videostream from the internet OK, no problems there, but when I want to transfer data between two external HDD (NAS devices) it can get as slow as 2 Mbs.
Any suggestions why is this happening?
Thank you,

What wireless modes are you using?
Try single mode N?
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/AES.
FYI, the max you'll ever see on a wireless xfer will be around 10-15Mb on single mode N on 5Ghz. Even on my CAT6 Gb wired network here and using my Mac Book Pro on 5Ghz, usually 9Mb. Many factors contribute to wireless performances. Security SW, network conditions, wiring, external radio interferences.
This is just the nature of the beast.
It's preferred to do any major or large file xfers to NAS using wired connections. I see 50-60Mb between my PCs and my server.
