Post by: vulkanbros on September 11, 2007, 06:21:57 AM
Today I have a DWL-G810 and a Xerox WNA100 Bridge....but they are running at 54 mbps .......

Anyone knows if there is a Draft N bridge ?? I canīt find any.....other than the link Lycan posted in this
subject : http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=390.0

But that is not available in Denmark.....so any suggestions or do I have to wait ??

UPS....I just noticed this little thing :
This Forum Beta is ONLY for registered owners from USA and Canada of our Platinum Series of 802.11n products Xtreme N. They include the DIR-655, DWA-652, DWA-552, DWA-643, DWA-556, and DIR-660 only at this time.

So I guess I am not wellcommed in here - as Denmark is placed in Europe......

or....what about the DAP-1555  >  Xtreme N Duo High-Definition MediaBridge.....
On the Product Diagram it shows two of the DAP-1555 ........
meaning.....???....that it ONLY works with a DAP-1555 in the other end ??
Or will one DAP-1555 work together with the DIR-655 ??

The DAP-1555 can connect to another DAP-1555 to create a bridge or with another router such as the DIR-655 to get Draft N speeds bridging. It can also be used as an access point if your current router does not have Draft N capability's.

DAP-1555 should be here by late Oct.

It should be launched later (early December) so as to pair it with the DIR-855. These products will support concurrent 2.4/5Ghz connections , where as major competitors and the DGL-4500 support either/or.

My comments aside it may launch is Oct and you will need to buy two to get the end to end functionallity.

I hope that there some day will come a direct replacement for the DWL-G810
that can run with Draft N specifications.... :)
