Title: Need help with emailing motion detected image

Im setting up my new DCS-932L camera. I have setup the email settings and completed the test email to make sure it works. My only problem is when I set the camera up to email on motion detect, it sends me 3 emails every minute - even when there is no motion. am I doing something wrong?

Try reducing the sensitivity in the web interface
Setup > Motion Detection > MOTION DETECTION SETTINGS

100% is way too sensitive. Subtle pixelation artifacts between sequential images will be enough to falsely trigger motion events at 100%

I have a similar question. Is there a setting I missed that allows only a certain amount of images to be sent in a certain time frame. For example, when the mail man arrives at 12 PM the camera would send an image for that event instead of sending a flood of images. 

I know the logitech cameras I used to have would allow the user to select how many minutes in between motion events before another image could be emailed. I believe this could reduce the spam affect you get with these.

I turned sensitivity down to 70% but the constant images is still a little annoying.

Unfortunately the firmware does not currently support a specified delay between motion delay emails.

for some reason I am still having the same issues.. Im using gmail to email the pictures my motion detection. As soon as I turn the camera on, it instantly starts emailing me 3 pictures every minute, regardless if there is any movement infront of the camera. I have tried turning the sensitivity down to 75% but that didnt help. any other ideas?

Adjust the sensitivity much lower.  Start at 5% of so and work your way up (rather than down).  See if that helps.

That seemed to fix my issue... Thanks alot
I wouldnt have ever put the sensitivity down that low, but it seems to be working perfect now

Glad I was able to help. I had the same issue when I first installed my DCS-932L. Took a while to figure that out.  :)
