There's a problem with my new DIR-825 router that I just got yesterday. As I finished setting it up and installing, all my wired connections seem to work fine. So I went to try out it's wireless ability. I use my iPhone to detect my router but it couldn't. I have set the wireless settings into place (SSID, WPA2 Key) but still my iPhone didn't seem to detect it, including my friend's laptop. The only LEDs showing is the power, the flashing triangle, the WAN, and LAN 1 (My Computer). I looked into the router's status and under Wireless LAN (Both 2.4GHz and 5GHz), this is what I got:
Wireless Radio : Init failed
802.11 Mode : Mixed 802.11n, 802.11g and 802.11b
Channel Width :
Channel :
Secondary Channel :
WISH : Active
Wi-Fi Protected Setup :
The "Wireless Radio: Init Failed" just bothers me :-[. It was like this when I turned it on the first time when I opened it. I search off from google and only fixes I read was doing hard resets and upgrading firmware but both didn't work. Can someone tell me what the problem is and is there a possible solution to fixing it? I need help :'(
Model: DIR-825
Firmware Ver.: 1.01 (2008/09/10)
Hardware Ver.: A1

Try doing a hard reset. Hold down the reset button for 12 seconds and then try to re-flash the firmware. Your wireless LED should be flashing by default. If it isn't flashing then the radio may be defective. Since you just recently purchased the router, I would see to exchange it.

I did a hard reset on it and re-flashed my firmware, it still didn't work. I'll just go exchange it anyway. Thanks for trying to help though, I appreciate it.
