Post by: canuk on January 01, 2012, 05:19:21 AM
firmware v.2.21 working well with laptop for 5 years. unable to connect b/b rim playbook last week. tried a couple of sessions with dlink tech support. turned off all other 2.4 ghz devices. would firmware upgrade 3.13 fix this issue?

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
What wireless modes are you using?
Try single mode G or mixed B and G?
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/try TPIK alone then try Auto TPIK and AES. Try turning off Security to test to see if they connect, then turn security back on.

Let us know
