Title: Question about ANT24-0230 (D-Link Antenna)

Does buying this antenna only allow you to reposition the signal or does it actually increase the range and strength of the signal? (i.e if I put the antenna right next to the router, will the signal be stronger or is that pointless?)

No, it will only increase the flexibility of positioning the antenna on higher ground or outside a closet.

Offtopic: And I really don't understand why it isn't sold in Europe  >:(
