Title: No internet connection detected
Post by: HITO on January 08, 2012, 02:07:46 AM
I have a working internet connection (AT&T) but it is not being detected during the router setup.
Is there a manual setup procedure that I can try?

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.

What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router?
What ISP Modem make and model do you have?
If this modem has a built in router, it's best to bridge the modem. Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems. I would contact your ISP and ask them if they can help you bridge the modem to the router. You'll need PPPoE acct information to enter in to the 615 router.
