so this has happened twice now, the nas has been running for many days/weeks and i login into it pretty much everyday, either to the config side or the downloads side to check out my BT's ...
so what the problem is is that i cannot login to the downloads side to check my BT's, it isn't a username and password issue because i can log into the config side and browse around and i end up reseting it and it reboots and all is good, but why wouldn't i be able to log into the downloads side sometimes? once i put in my u/n and p/w the screen just blinks and waits for me to input it again and i have tried many times ...
the BT i am trying to download is 25 gig and has taken weeks to do it, not sure if that makes any difference ... it just sucks when you have to restart it because the BT client has to figure out how much it has downloaded which takes a while when you have lots of BT's and big ones at that ..
anyone else have this problem or know why it is happening?

What firmware version are your running on you DNS-323?
-
I submitted this issue to Dlink support (Canada) a couple months ago. Haven't heard back from them.
-
f/w 1.06, nas is only 2 months old

Same problem here to.
FW 1.06
I taught that it may be too many torrents, but it happened this morning again with only one torrent downloading.
Try to login to download side , just reloads login screen.
No problem login to config.

the first time i had 2 torrents and this time only 1 torrent ...
-
anyone have any ideas as to why?????
-
Same here....

I have had the same issue, but there is a message that comes up just temporaliry. I have tried logging in a few times to try and read the message and it appears that the hard drives are being backed up. I am going to give it another day to see how things go. I am also running fw 1.06.

this happens with mine as well. if you log in to the config screen, and reboot it, you'll then be able to get in to the downloads screen.
-
ya that's what i do, but why is it doing it? it shouldn't, hopefully D-Link is looking into this and will have a fix soon for it!!!
-
Perfect, I restarted my device through Configurations (Tools-System-Restart) and I was able to log back into the Downloads section again. THanks everyone.

HI
I still have this problem on 1.06
Does the new firmware or the beta one resolved this?
-
Make sure to log out of the unit from the BT screen and not let it timeout left in configuration BT page and see if the issue persists.
-
Yea, i thought of that myself,
I always clic the log out button, but still the issue persist,
I dont know if the size of the torrents make any difference.
