So I have two laptops (both macs) and a desktop (Vista) connecting to the DIR-825. 1 laptop connects on the 5ghz channel and the other on the 2.4ghz channel. The desktop is a wired connection.
This morning I woke up and tried accessing my email and found that on all three machines I could connect to google and any google subdomain (gmail, news, images, etc) without fail, but ANY site other than that would time out.
DNS was working as I could resolve IP's however I could not ping anything, just got timeouts. A traceroute showed drops at various points along the path for different sites so I thought maybe a backbone was down.
I disconnected the router and hooked my laptop directly into the cable modem and everything started working flawlessly... so I hooked the router back up and found the same issue.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
