Hello, i've recently had problems with my D-Link DIR-615 router,
and NAT Type 3 on PS3..
I read in a topic on this website that I need to check if the ISP modam doesn't have a built in router.. Well I upgraded my modam and ever since that on the PS3 all online games have NAT Type: Strict, but am not sure if the modam has a built in router..
Now, my ps3 & laptop are connected through the D-Link router which intern obviously runs from the modam, the laptop works fine online have no problems what soever, but on the PS3 I have a strict NAT!
Can anybody please explain to me why the laptop works fine without problems, but the PS3 does have problems ..
I've used almost every single tutorial on how to change NAT type from editing the settings inside the router, to editing settings in the modam, not a single thing works..
Thanks in advanced,
Timmy.

What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router?
What ISP Modem make and model do you have?
If this modem has a built in router, it's best to bridge the modem. Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems.
I would call up the ISP and have them bridge the ISP modem to the router if the modem has a built in router. You'll need PPPoE acct user name and password to inter into the 615 router if your on DSL.
