Title: Replacement power for Dir-655

I am want to get a new power supply for DIR-655 N Wireless Router I can't seem to find the voltage and amps could anyone help?

Can call DLink and ask. Most of these routers have the same PS and the voltages are the same. I believe it's 12v however can't remember of the top of my head the amps.  ::) You should be able to get a PS from them for a small fee I think. Let us know how it goes.

Power Supply: Input-100-120v, 0.5A, 50-60hz
Output: +12V @2A

My power supply started malfunctioning after only six months, and I could not find any adapter that works with the router. I had to send the unit back and will have to wait for three to four weeks to have it repaired or replaced.

If by calling Dlink support wont result in a replacement adapter at first,
You can find acceptible replacement adapters here:

Be sure to match the out put voltage, polarity and connector size with the original and you should be good to go.
