Title: Did DST kick-in for you Sunday, Mar 8th, in the USA?
Post by: abellofi on March 09, 2009, 05:11:38 PM
I've noticed that my DST setting had no effect this last Sunday, March 8th.  So, while using NTP I had to set my timezone from EST (GMT-5) to AST (DMT-4) to "spring ahead" an hour - friends had the same issue.
I had tried setting DST ON and set to USA - no good.
Did DLINK not update DST for the new times starting the last year or so ago?

Thank you. We are currently looking into this issue and it does appear to not be working properly. This is something that can be fixed in the next official firmware release.

Selecting "Mountain time (US, Canada) and DST" will provide you with the correct time for a workaround right now.

Selecting "Mountain time (US, Canada) and DST" will provide you with the correct time for a workaround right now.

If you apply this workaround, just remember to check your time again first Sunday in April, when the old daylight saving time used to kick in.
