Title: Firmware 1.10 for Rev. C on Rev. B
Post by: FalconeMateo on February 05, 2012, 12:06:48 PM
Hi everybody,

I own a NAS-323 Rev. B1 and I installed (by mistake ;O) firmware 1.10 dedicated for Rev. C.

Could you tell me what will happen to my NAS ? Is it dangerous for my data...

Regards.

In the release notes that I have for firmware 1.10, dated 1/5/12 9:00 AM, I see nothing about the release being dedicated to Rev. C1 hardware.  I have had the 1.10b7 release installed on three B1 units to format the disks.  After formatting I reinstalled 1.09 because 1.10 was still a beta release.  Others have pointed out that the official 1.10 version is identical to 1.10b7.

Well it sounds like a good news. In fact, I've seen the 1.10 firmware on the ftp under the subdirectory "Rev. B" and not in "Rev. C" that's why I believed it was dedicated to Rev. B.

Thanks ; )
