Title: How to update the firmware from 1.40 to latest?
Post by: ptrsmntc on February 16, 2012, 04:40:08 PM
Hi, I have a DWA-160, H/W Ver.: A2, F/W Ver.: 1.40

I replaced a dead AP with a new Apple Airport Extreme, and the DWA-160 now has some issues, it appears to just randomly stop routing traffic, but still shows connected with full signal.

None of my other devices have problems with the Airport.

I see on the forum that there is much later firmware, e.g. 1.80 for this device.
How do I update the firmware to the latest version?

P.

I can't believe no one answered you! I know I am a year late, but I still use DWA-160...

WINDOWS

ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/dwa160/Drivers/dwa160_drivers_180.zip

MAC
ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/dwa160/Drivers/dwa160_mac_drivers_40010.zip

LINUX
ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/dwa160/Drivers/dwa160_linux_drivers_32017.zip

EDIT: I tried linking those, but since they are FTP files, you'll have to copy and paste the address

Thank you for sharing. You can link FTP addresses by using the FTP link button icon instead of using the HTTP icon. Enjoy.
