Title: WD My bbok hard drive dosen't work on my USB port for DIR-645

I tried to put a WD my book essential on the usb port on the router and it doesn't work.  I tried with a small WD passport and it's working.  Does someone know what I can do to make working my WD Mybook?  Thank you.
 ( doesn't work as shareport and DLNA).

Also after connecting the USB device to the router, did you power cycle the router after words?

Hi

Yes I did try to power off and on the router few times.  I also tried with the shareport and it's still doesn't recognise that there is a Hard drive on the router.  This is why i tried with an other small hard drive and it's work find with the small one.  I read the other post and I was wonderring if I could need to re format my hard drive? It's a WD my book 3T

It's possible that you might need to reformat the bigger HD.
