Cannot get DirecTV HD-DVR to connect to DIR-655 wired.Anyone know the way to get DirecTV to connect?

Swap out cables between the router and DVR? Make sure the DVR network settings are set to automatic or auto obtain IP addressing. It should connect and get an IP address. Do you see anything under Status/Device Info/Lan Computers when you connect the DVR?

Make sure the Networking settings on the DVR are enabled or set to ON.
Contact the ISP for the DVR for help it.
