Title: DIR-655 Product and Firmware
Post by: Mark_KF8RV on March 04, 2012, 02:00:02 PM

Thank you for continuing the D-Link support of this fine product.

I like the DIR-655 a lot especially since I don't in any way need dual-band capability.

I just hope that D-Link continues to sell and support this fine product in North America.  Basically, it's an outstanding single-band router.

Regards,

Mark.

Which hardware version do you own?  If its an A don't expect any more firmware updates, unless a fatal flaw shows up.  The B hardware will contunue to get updates and recently just had one.

but in israel they sell B1 hardware without any firmware upgrades for a lot of time, and the firmware is very buggy and crappy also.
i don't need to replace my unit, all my connection issues was sloved after i setup static dns server in l2tp connection menu, i don't understand the real reason for this.
my hardware is dir-655 b1 and 2.00ru firmware.
