Hello,
I have a problem with the latest firmware 1.02 : network shares parameters are not saved after reboot.
Before reboot :
(http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/2708/beforeoy.png) (http://img833.imageshack.us/i/beforeoy.png/)
After reboot :
(http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/4209/aftervs.png) (http://img829.imageshack.us/i/aftervs.png/)
Even if they do not appear, the settings seem always functional.
But after a while, they disappear completely (they no longer appear in the configuration interface and are no longer functional).
I think it's a firmware bug. Are there others in the same situation as me ?
Thank you in advance for your help.

The firmware does not affect this as its stored on a section of your HD Volume one
Every time you add a folder or file you will see volume one light flicker briefly
So if you have formatted externally then the partiton is lost
You need to do a reformat Via the box
Then when you save your settings it saves them in the right place

I have not formatted externally.

Hi,
This is definitely a malfunction, in my opinion. I would try to do a a "reset to factory defaults" and then manually re-enter my user / share settings and try again, do not use a saved configuration file. If you still get the same loss of settings, I think you should go to Dlink Support for an RMA. Good luck

I know where the problem originates.
I formatted my NAS as advised.
I reinstalled squeeze and I noticed that it was this that caused the problem.
Indeed, just change the file name "fun_plug" (eg "fun_plug.debian") and after reboot we find sharing settings.
So this is a bug in the 1.02 update as above, for exmple with the 1.01 there was no problem.
