Title: Too many emails on motion - way to throttle emails on motion detected?
Post by: jim-adams on March 22, 2012, 09:56:47 AM
Love it all except that when my cameras start cranking out hundreds of emails when motion is detected.

Is there any means to throttle the rate at which emails are issues upon motion detection?

Gmail is actually disabling my ability to send email for 24 hours because of all the emails my cameras generate - particularly on a windy day when shadows dance everywhere across the camera's view.

Hoping to have a choice between zero and a million emails...

thanks
Jim

What model camera do you own?

This is a DViewCam s/w issue, not a camera issue (I figure).
DCS-910, DCS-920, DCS-930L, DCS-932L
All same effect (i.e. behavior of the DViewCam s/w)

thx
