Is the DNS-323 being powered down properly or is the power cable removed from the unit at any point?
-
no, always gracefully shutdown. The problem also occure when run the unit for a while without power-off or shutdown.

I've exactly the same problem (fw 1.06).

My problem slightly different.
I changed my broadband router from 2Wire to D-link, and now the
BT function is not working any more. (i.e. not downloading new or old torrent files..) ???

I found the workaround that the problem will be resolved when deleted all torrents file (/BT/torrents). But the download list will be disappeared again after run about one week. Don't know how to resolve this problem permanently.

I too get this problem, hence why I have had to find these forum boards.
I upgraded to 1.07 and tried the BT thing on an unhacked 323 hardware revision A1.
BT worked fine initially, but as I became confident with it, I gave it 10 or 15 torrents to go at. The problems this has resulted in are various.
In general there are two states.
1. Fine. Everything operates as one would expect.
2. Broke.
Torrent download page appears to be empty. Once you've tried to look at it, the webserver becomes locked, and cannot be accessed again until the unit is rebooted.
You can still access the 323 file system over the network if you can figure out it's IP address.
Easyview won't find it.
Sometimes it moves to 192.168.0.20 even though my router and network usually sits in 192.168.10.1xx range.
The only way I have found to get from 2(broken) to 1(fine) is to delete all the .torrent files and all the .fastresume files from the BT operating directory.
Removal of the .fastresume files is not enough, however if one does that, one will notice that some of them re-appear after some time. It is as though the system is still operating, but you just cannot look upon it.
I've tried backing it off to only 5 torrents at a time, and it still gets messed up now.
I've stopped using the torrent facility. Reading the 1.08 beta thread has been very encouraging. I don't like using Beta personally, I do not have sufficient linux knowledge to save myself if I do something silly. It doesn't seem to mention specifically the problem I see on mine, but I see lots of work and fixes, and hopefully my problem gets fixed by accident!
