Although the DCS-932L firmware version 1.02b03 has been out since late last year, the release notes were just updated a week or so ago and I updated the cumulative release notes (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=42617.0) sticky accordingly.
The release notes indicate that the crackling/poping sound from the DCS-932L audio stream was fixed with the latest beta release. Can DCS-932L users with the latest beta firmware please validate this and post back?

I'd say it's better - but the hiss from bad compression still exists.

We are using firmware 1.02b3 on the DCS-932L (outdoors)
The crackle is gone, although the background noise is rather high - and in windy conditions, very loud.
Maybe still just a little bit choppy, hard to tell on noise.
Similarly, FW 1.04b3 on the DCS-930L (indoors), crackle is gone.

I honestly didn't notice that the crackling was gone until I read the recently posted release notes :-[
That's psychology for you. . .

Thanks, I'll update the DCS-930L board as well.
