Post by: FalconeMateo on April 04, 2012, 11:56:59 AM
SqueezeCenter do not want to be installed anymore. I get all the time the message "please download ... and copy in Volume_1".

Any idea ?

Does it give you a link to a file to download?  Setting Squeezeboxserver up is a 3 step process.

1. load the add-on.
2. follow the link and download the tar file.  Copy it to the root of drive 1 on the dns.
3. run the install again and it should read and install from the tar file.

I got the error message at step 3, each time I try.

Do you have also a Volume_2 in your system? Maybe you changed the bays of your HDDs before so that your first HDD is Volume_2.
Try to copy the logitech file on Volume_2 and install the D-Link add on.

Solved. I needed to use the addon version 2 with firmware 1.02 (and not addon version 1). Not documented as usual...

Which version of the squeezebox server is currently used? Is already the current version 7.7.2 supported?
