Hi!
I just unpacked and installed my 3:rd 932L. It just wont work as the other two. The Night Mode will not work for more than a 2-3 sec then the camara clicks and it it goes back to Daylight Mode again. The same happens if I use the Manual setting or the Allways Night Mode. What can I do?

Is the new DCS-932L in a location where the light level is hovering between the day/night mode transition? Does the night mode work in a pitch black room?

No it is not. I am aware of what happens when when light is low. Irrespectiv of how I set the day/night mode, even in manual mode when I press the On button for Night Mode (in a pitch dark room) it dosent stay in Night Mode for more than 3 secs, I just tried it again.

What you are describing sounds like a defective camera. Return to the vendor or contact D-Link customer support for a replacement.

Thanks! I suspected that. I will contact the vendor.

Good luck. Keep us posted! ;)

This morning I noticed that the camera was in black/white mode. I checked the settings and it was in Manual mode and I had pressed the On button for Night Mode. What happens then is that the camera goes in to black/white and the four IR LEDs activates, but only for 3 secs. Obviously there is something wrong with the IR LED mode since it fails to stay in that mode but the camera is still in black/white mode and not as I said before, returns to colour mode.

Since you already own two additional DCW-932Ls and apparently have been using them for some time, I'm confident that you know how to properly configure the device. On it's face, this looks like a defect. Other than flashing the camera to the factory defaults and reconfiguring from scratch (which I think you mentioned earlier), I would work on obtaining a replacement.

Yes, I have tried the factory reset but the result is just the same. I have sent a mail today to the company that sold the cameras and told them about the defective camera. I have not received an answer yet, and will not till after Easter hollydays, I suppose. I will let you know how things turn out.
