Hi,
I need to change my DCS-942L camera settings remotely when I am not connected to my home wireless network. When I am at home, I just type in the local IP address of the camera (192.168.0.100) into my browser to access the firmware. How can I do the same when I am away from home and obviously not connected to the local WiFi? Any help is appreciated.

On your router point a port to port 80 of your internal IP. Not sure what router you have, so not going to step you through that.
Then you will point your browser to your PUBLICIP:4321 for example.
Get your IP from whatismyip.com and 4321 can be whatever you set on your router.
